No, typically each insurance company offers different plans. Although you may see some similarities they do vary and one insurance company may suit your needs better than another.

Not necessarily, many companies offer payment plans, credit cards or EFT.
How do I get a quote on my insurance?

Yes, typically you would fall into a high risk category so your rates will most likely reflect that.
I rent and my landlord has insurance should I carry insurance as well?
Yes, your landlord's policy does not cover your personal property. Renter's policies are very reasonable and well worth the security.
